If you’re struggling to control your temper on a frequent basis and it’s starting to get you down then Anger Management Coaching can help you take control of your life again.
Although it’s not commonly listed alongside other mental health problems, anger issues, in my opinion, definitely should be. This is also because if it’s left untreated, anger issues can lead to other mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and depression.
I know this because I’ve been through it myself.
I struggled with anger issues throughout my childhood right through to my adult life. But one day I got hit with a reality I’d love to help you or anyone else avoid.
One day I had to watch in horror as my 4-year-old son mirrored me with his own temper.
Watching my son lose his temper and struggle with his post-rage emotions had a big impact on my own mental health. I blamed myself, knew my wife blamed me and I fell into a dark hole of depression.
Luckily for me I had the self-awareness to realise my own issues and through my own working knowledge as a coach and through a professional psychologist I managed to turn my life around and free myself from the control of my anger.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not claiming to be completely free from losing my temper these days, but I have got much more control over it and it happens much less frequently. In fact, I even struggle to get angry these days when I try to do so.
So what is anger management coaching?
Anger management coaching is a confidential one-to-one meeting, between an individual (you) and a professional coach (me). In this meeting, we will discuss your anger issues and work together on raising your awareness of where they come from and how you can control them.
Coaching is all about me asking you lots of questions that will lead to you self-discovering the solutions of how to control your temper. I will provide you with various tools, resources and ongoing support but it’s down to you to put in the legwork and make the change.
What can you expect from me as your anger management coach?
I am a qualified professional coach with various diplomas and certifications in areas such as; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Caring for Adults, CBT for Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Panic Attacks and other mental health care training areas.
Coaching and helping people is my passion and I have delivered more than 1,000 hours of one-to-one coaching during the past decade to people with a variety of challenges and goals.
My coaching style offers a flexible and diverse mix of focusing on the past, present and future depending on your situation.
You can expect me to be 100% supportive, completely non-judgemental, down-to-earth, honest, direct, and firm but fair. You’re going to be asked a lot of questions in each session and I will challenge you on your opinions. I will also invite you out of your comfort zone and hold you accountable for yourself, your actions and your goals.
“David has always been a huge inspiration to me as a coach and as a friend. He is a no-nonsense professional who understands what it takes to succeed, having grafted himself, and is extremely good at passing this on to others. He takes a very hands-on approach, leading the way and filling those around him with confidence.”

How long do the sessions last?
Your initial coaching session will typically be a bit longer, but ongoing sessions will normally last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the frequency of your sessions.
Some clients prefer to have a set time and date in the calendar every month, whereas others prefer to schedule their coaching sessions on an ad-hoc basis. I’m flexible either way, however, consistency in your sessions will always deliver the best results.
How many sessions will you need?
This one is always hard to answer because I don’t know enough about you or your situation, so I don’t usually suggest how many sessions people need until we’ve got through the first couple of hours together. On average, most of my clients have 2 sessions per month.
Where will the coaching sessions be held?
Unless you’re based locally in Manchester, happy to come to me or happy to pay extra for me to travel to you then all of my sessions are normally delivered online or over the telephone. This ensures I can keep my coaching fees affordable for you and flexible for both of us.
Due to popular demand, I also now offer coaching sessions via WhatsApp chat or email.
How much does anger management coaching cost?
You can either choose to pay-as-you-go and pay £65 per session or you can sign up to one of my monthly private coaching plans that start from as low as £40 per session with no long-term commitment required and the ability to upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
