If you’re struggling with relationship problems with your partner it can sometimes feel like your whole world is falling apart.
My relationship coaching service is for both couples or individuals who want to get their relationships back on track.

Relationship problems are not uncommon. In fact, without relationship problems, most couples would never grow their relationships.
But when your relationship problems are starting to affect your daily well-being and mental health it’s time to get help.
Your relationship with your partner is probably one of the most complex, sensitive and hopefully long-lasting relationships in your life. But in order to make it work, you’ve got to work at it every day.
I work with couples and individuals on a daily basis struggling with their relationships. Sometimes it’s because of anger, trust or even violence issues and other times it can just be down to couples just feeling stuck.
Whatever relationship problems you’re struggling with, just talking to someone can make the world of difference.
So what is relationship coaching?
Relationship coaching is a confidential meeting, between an individual (you) or couple and a professional coach (me). In this meeting, we will discuss your relationship issues and work together on raising your awareness of where they come from and how you can control them.
Coaching is all about me asking you lots of questions that will lead to you self-discovering the solutions of how to improve your relationship. I will provide you with various tools, resources and ongoing support but it’s down to you to put in the legwork and make the change.
What can you expect from me as your relationship coach?
I am a qualified professional coach with various diplomas and certifications in areas such as; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Caring for Adults, CBT for Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Panic Attacks and other mental health care training areas.
Coaching and helping people is my passion and I have delivered more than 1,000 coaching hours during the past decade to people with a variety of challenges and goals.
My coaching style offers a flexible and diverse mix of focusing on the past, present and future depending on your situation.
You can expect me to be 100% supportive, completely non-judgemental, down-to-earth, honest, direct, and firm but fair. You’re going to be asked a lot of questions in each session and I will challenge you on your opinions. I will also invite you out of your comfort zone and hold you accountable for yourself, your actions and your goals.
“David has always been a huge inspiration to me as a coach and as a friend. He is a no-nonsense professional who understands what it takes to succeed, having grafted himself, and is extremely good at passing this on to others. He takes a very hands-on approach, leading the way and filling those around him with confidence.”

How long do the sessions last?
Your initial coaching session will typically be a bit longer, but ongoing sessions will normally last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the frequency of your sessions.
Some clients prefer to have a set time and date in the calendar every month, whereas others prefer to schedule their coaching sessions on an ad-hoc basis. I’m flexible either way, however, consistency in your sessions will always deliver the best results.
How many sessions will you need?
This one is always hard to answer because I don’t know enough about you or your situation, so I don’t usually suggest how many sessions people need until we’ve got through the first couple of hours together. On average, most of my clients have 2 sessions per month.
Where will the coaching sessions be held?
Unless you’re based locally in Manchester, happy to come to me or happy to pay extra for me to travel to you then all of my sessions are normally delivered online or over the telephone. This ensures I can keep my coaching fees affordable for you and flexible for both of us.
Due to popular demand, I also now offer coaching sessions via WhatsApp chat or email.
How much does relationship coaching cost?
My private coaching plans range from £40 to £65 per session with no long-term commitment required. Most of my clients pay for a block of 4 sessions upfront to get the lower £40 per session rate which you can use over any period of time that suits you.
What if your partner does not want to attend?
It’s quite common that your partner might feel a little forced into doing coaching or that maybe they feel a little uncomfortable with it.
This is why I often either start working with just one person only or work with you and your partner in separate private one-on-one sessions.
In fact, I always recommend each partner to have at least one private one-on-one session with me because there’s generally always things people are not comfortable talking about just yet in front of their partners and these things can be very important in helping you move forward.
Even if your partner never wants to attend sessions, doing them on your own can still help you improve your relationship and possibly motivate them to take another form of action of their own.
